motor swap

i am putting an 1979-to 82 302 motor in my falcon wanting to use my 65 289 water pump and pulley set up but i need to know if i can change my harmonic balancer that is on the 302 to an early one maybe off a 1970? the one that is on my motor will not let the pulleys line up right i want to keep the stock look on the new motor going in
