Hi. I'm hoping to AGAIN take advantage of the vast knowledge of the members of this board. We want to start keeping our eyes open for a good donor car where we might find a 3-speed automatic to replace the 2-speed Fordomatic in our '63 Falcon, which currently has a 170. What should we be looking for - a Maverick maybe? I know where there are several Granadas/Monarchs with 250's in them. How about those? Also, will I need a custom transmission mount (some guy sells them on eBay) or can I get a tranny mount from a later model Falcon or some other Ford that used the 3-speed? I wish to retain the parking brake and, as you know, the tranny mount incorporates part of the hand brake mechanism.
Thanks in advance.
Jim
