I think the mystery is solved. Here is what I found out: C= 1960's C3= 1963 D= Falcon 60 to 69, Maverick 70 to 74, Granada 75 to 82, and LTD 83 & later. Thats quite a spread, but it's what the research showed. Thanks to all that helped. Joe
