Speakers in rear deck

I'm hoping I get the same great replies to this question as the Rear Window Seal question I asked a few days ago.

The rear deck in our cars wasn't really designed with stereo speaker installations in mind. For those of you who have done this installation, did you use 6X9's, 6-1/2's, or something else?
