I have the later model Escort seats. I picked them because the backs flip forward even though they came out of a 4dr car. They have removal head rest. They are much more comfortable than the originals, but are close in appearance. I had them covered, along with the rear seat, locally to match original but in velor. Don't like vinyl. They weren't that hard to install.
I have 225X60X15 tires on 15X7 wheels with a 3.75 inch back set on the front. On the rear I have 235X60X15 on 15X7 wheels with a 4.5 inch back set. I am pleased with this setup.
Go to fordmuscle.com and register. There is a great Falcon forum on there and you will find a lot of good information. tell them retyler sent you. LOL BTW there is no such thing as Sh@t block Cheby in a Ford on that site.
Good Luck

: With the stock fender well 205X14 are
: about the biggest. However you can
: tub the fender wells up to the
: "frame" and mount 245X14
: tires. 15" wheels will also fit
: but sometimes the clearance on the
: front of the opening is real close.
: The small dodge pickup bench seat
: also fits quite well.
