Posted by J B Long Good points - solid body, with the only rust through being one small spot on the right rear corner of the roof. All the glass is good, and the car has factory tinted (Sun-X) glass all the way around, except the tailgate glass, which was replaced. Factory V8 car, now has a '66 289 and C4, stock 2 barrel, runs good but smokes a bit and the tranny is tired. About 130K miles on the engine and transmission (original, not rebuilt). Bottom end on the engine is tight, top end probably needs valve seals. The rear axle is a 2.87:1 8 inch from a Granada, in good shape. Brakes were all gone through fairly recently, including a new dual master cylinder. Everything works electrically - all lights, heater, 2 speed wipers, etc. Interior is decent, but the rear seat and headliner need replacing. Nice beige dash pad, day-nite mirror, padded visors, remote driver's mirror, accessory passenger mirror. Front bumper and grille are good, and the body is decent, but not perfect. The car drives and brakes straight. Original black plate CA car (from Monterey), currently registered. Bad points - the engine and trans are tired, and the car runs hot on the freeway. Has done this the whole time I've owned it, and is probably due to crud inside the engine. The paint is shot, and the body needs a moderate amount of attention to be nice. No major damage, but there is some old work that needs redoing. And the one small spot of rust on the roof. Extra parts - any or all of these can be included with the car for a negotiable cost. I need to get rid of the car, so please don't ask to buy just the parts unless I sell the car without them. I have a spare C4 transmission that's good, extra grille, lenses, tailgate glass, and misc small mechanical parts, a couple radiators, brake drums, hubcaps, and probably more as I dig it out. My '65 wagon needs a new home. This is a solid car that runs and drives, but needs some TLC. It's been a turnkey car for the past ten years or so, and everything works, but nothing on it is perfect. I have a bunch of extras that I'll include if someone is interested.
