THERE WAS NEVER , NEVER , A 65 CONVERTIBLE MADE WITHOUT HOLES IN THE SIDE FOR THE TRIM. THEY WERE SQUARE HOLES PUNCHED AT THE FACTORY. THE BODY SHELL , REAR Q'S , WILL HAVE THEM , MAYBE UNDER BONDO OR WELD , BUT THEY HAVE TO BE THERE. IF IT'S BONDO YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO JUST KNOCK THEM OUT. IF YOUR DOORS AND FENDERS ARE ORIGINAL THEY TOO WILL HAVE THEM HIDDEN .... IT'S HARD TO DRILL SQUARE HOLES. MAYBE SOMEONE ELSE WOULD SUGGEST THE RIGHT WAY TO MAKE HOLES FOR TRIM.
