Posted by JimG on 7/21/2007, 5:55 am 1 - the fuel pump is massive, and appears to have a fuel filter built into the top of it. Is that true, and if so, is the filter replaceable? Does the housing simply unscrew? 2 - Replacement fuel tanks for this vehicle are advertised as having a drain plug. Will I find a drain plug on the original tank? This car was parked years ago with fuel in the tank and I'm addressing the problem of goo in the fuel system. Thanks in advance, Jim

Let me preface my questions by stating that we ordered a service manual for this vehicle on eBay, and they sent a '56 Ford manual. Once we get the correct manual in hand, I won't be bothering you with such basic questions. But we're working on the car tonight, and I need to know a couple of things about a '63 170 Falcon.
