Posted by JimG on 7/8/2007, 4:18 am I'm helping a friend make a good driver of a '63 Falcon that's been in her family for over 30 years. It's been sitting in a barn for about 15 years. The brakes are non-operational, and since the master cylinder needs replacing anyway, I'd like to use a later, dual-circuit master cylinder and convert the drum brakes to dual circuit. I believe this was required by law beginning in '67. Does anyone know if a later drum brake master cylinder will bolt in with no modifications? BTW, this particular car was wrecked earlier in it's life due to master cylinder failure, so the dual circuit setup seems like a good way to go until we do further research on the drum-to-disc conversion. Thanks in advance, Jim
