I just did the generator to 1-wire alternator swap. I used the existing generator bracket--I had to redrill the mounting holes to move it forward an inch or so, then made a spacer out of a piece of steel tube to go over the long bolt that goes through the alternator and bracket to the take up the space between the end of the bracket and the alternator. I cut and rewelded the old generator tensioner bracket to clear the fan on the alternator. I didn't have to move the horn or anything else. ONE SUGGESTION: The bolt on the end of the tensioner bracket requires you to remove the fan and pulley (on my 200-6) to get the bolt out. I should have threaded a stud into that hole so the bracket would just attach with a nut (which you can remove without messing with the fan.) By doing this, if the bracket needs a little adjusting once the belt is tight (mine was just touching the alternator fan) you can remove the bracket quickly to grind it or whatever.Just an idea to save you from saying bad words.
