Never have I had such a problem with manual brakes. I'm still thinking the adjusters may be the culpret. It'll pull to the left for a few weeks then switch to the right. I'd like to get rid of the automatic adjusters. Is there a kit that will accomplish this? Thanks again for the tips.... Smith H. --Previous Message--

Thanks for the input guys.......
Yep, I've installed new brake hoses, it has a new master cyl. and the alignment appears to be right on. Tires are wearing evenly. The rear brakes have all been replaced also. We've blead the system until new fluid flows clear (thought maybe slug may be in the lines somewhere).
: Have you replaced the brake hoses?

: I've replaced every brake part, with
: exception of the backing plates (of
: which I've surfaced the shoe riding
: points) on the 65 Ranchero and after
: driving a few miles the thing pulls
: either hard to the left or right
: when the brakes are applied. We've
: install 3 or 4 sets of drums, wheel
: cylinders, shoes, springs, self
: adjusting mechanisms and it still
: does the same thing after a few
: miles.

: Anybody got any ideas?????
