Both are the 8 inch, so lots of gear ratios available. If you prefer to keep the 4 lug bolt pattern I believe Stainless Steel Brake is now selling a 4 lug disc brake kit for the Falcons. The easiest (but not the cheapest) way to get discs and the 5 bolt pattern is to use the front suspension from a '63-65 V8 Falcon and '65-67 Mustang (Kelsey Hayes) discs. I did this swap on a '62 several years back. You'll need the V8 spindles, upper and lower control arms, steering center link, pitman arm, drag link, and tie rods. Most of the parts are the same as early Mustang, but the center link is V8 Falcon only. The early Mustang discs will bolt right on to the V8 drum brake spindles. Stainless Steel Brake Corp in New York sells a changeover kit that has everything you'll need for the disc swap on the V8 suspension if you prefer it in kit form. I used a Mustang II manual disc master cylinder and a '67 Mustang proportioning valve. The early Mustang discs are a 4 piston design, so you don't need a booster like you do on some other swaps.
: Thanks! He said it was a Granada. I
