These are all of my ancestors. My great-grandparents were first cousins on the Ely side. James Ervin Shackelford (parents - Henry Scott Shackelford and Caroline Ely Shackelford) and Lila Ely Shackelford (parents - Isom Ely and 2nd wife Rhoda Mink Ely). Caroline's and Isom's parents were John Ely and Nancy Wilder Ely (She married William Miracle after John passed away). John Ely's parents were William Ely, Jr. and Mary Rebecca Saylor Ely. William Ely's parents were William Ely and Mary Rawlings Ely. Mary Rebecca Saylor Ely's parents were * Saylor and Sarah Salyer Saylor.
