I saw this post for the Patten reunion and was wondering if anyone would be related to a mark patten that used to play in a blue grass band called Mark Patten and The Sandy River Boys around Perry co ky. Would have been in the later 30's-40's and maybe some early 50's. My father Clay Combs ( some called him Jr) played the mandelin in that band with Mark Patten and talked a great deal about him. We even have a cassetape that was sent to my dad of them playing. I would love to know if any of those men are still living. My dad past away in 2001 here in Ohio.
