I just clean the corn well and then take a very sharp knife and cut just the tips of the kernal off. Then take the knife and scrape the rest of the kernal out. I usually do this by scraping the knife one time down the length of the ear and then turn it slightly and scrape again. Do not scrape it too hard or you will get the husk of the kernal in the corn and it is not as good. I then put it in my quart bags or the quart freezer boxes. Leave a little room at the top of either so it can expand when frozen. When ready to cook just let unthaw and prepare how you like it. We like what is called fried corn-just some bacon grease or butter in a skillet with a little sugar and about a 1/4 cup of milk and let it cook down till thick. Watch it or it will burn easy when almost done. Hope this helps you!!
