: Thanks, Izetta. I grew up in Middlesboro. Our mother attended Binghamtown School the first year it opened in the l920's. Four out of five of us children attended there in the l940's and 50's. Our uncle owned the building in later years, but the property was sold out of the family. The building was last being used as some sort of shop.
What I am really after is a photo of the school as it was when it was in operation. I've even tried through the school system and the museum, but no response. I even tried the Daily News in Middlesboro. I know someone, somewhere has to have a photograph of the school, but thus far no response.
Thanks for your suggestion, though.
