Lost City, KY

I noticed this comment on a KY Geologic map: "The area around Lost City (southeast of Lewisburg, Logan Co.KY) contains numberous Indian burial mounds, midden piles, and mounds that may have been dwellings or religious sites." Does anyone have any information about this area? I have not been able to find anything else about it.
