Hey Gary, great post. Are all these varieties available for purchase? Also, are these seeds or plants? How would I purchase some of these? Can I do it via the mail?
I had seen The Pike County in a catalog before and had wanted to try them. I didn't get any at that time then lost the catalog(or it was accidentally pitched). I have not seen them anywhere else,until your post. I hope to be able to purchase some of these. Quite honestly, I don't like tomatoes but I like to try different things in my garden. I really enjoy raising the heirloom varieties. They never go to waste. My wife and mother love tomatoes. Also, there are always friends to give to if we have more than can be eaten or canned.
