I have both books from my Mother's side of m Family. The Gano Famil arried in New Amsterdam (New York) in 1661. I am related to the Rockefellers, the Wright Brothers, Howard Hughs Jr. The Rev. John Gano was Gen George Washington's Chaplin during the American Revolution and travelled throughout Kentucky doing Revivals in the late 1790s. His son Capt. Daniel Gano founded Covington, Kentucky.
I also have a Crum Book, Mathias Crum Sr. arrived from Germany to Montgomery County, Virginia in 1765 with his Wife and five ear old son John. John served in the American Revolution and was awarded a 100 acre bounty in Clark County, Indiana. His Brothers and he moved to Jefferson County, Kentucky, where John moved his famil to his Indiana farm in 1803.
