Thompsons of Littles Creek, Georges Branch, Whick & Wolf Coal

I am researching Thompson ancestors from the Breathitt and Perry County area. I would enjoy having pictures and other information about the Thompsons and other families that lived around Littles Creek, Whick, Georges Branch and Wolf Coal areas during the early to late 1800s. I am still unable to determine our family line past my G-G-G grandfather Eli Thompson. Eli moved to Breathitt County from south west VA sometime after his birth in 1828, but no records have been found that identify the names of his mother or father. Documents have shown Eli was originally with a girl by the name of Ellen before getting married to Elizabeth "Betsy" RALEIGH b. 1834 in Breathitt County, Ky (around 1851). Eli and Elizabeth raised (2)sons, John, b. 15 Aug 1852 d. 13 Dec 1930 and Daniel b. 12 Jan 1856 d. 1927. It is possible that Ellen may have been the mother of John.
