Posted by James/RDG on October 5, 2005, 6:27 am I have a quick question. I have been an exhibitionist I guess for several years now. I read through this forum some and saw some people talking about legal action being taken against exhibitionists. Here is my question: I never have exposed myself to anyone while in public. Instead, I enjoy having my windows open and masturbating while sitting in a chair. I live on the second story in an apartment building, so no one on the street can see me. However, the people who live across the street on the second story can see me masturbating if they look out their window into my apartment. Recently, it was obvious that I was seen, which just heightened my sexual gratification. Usually, I masturbate with most of the lights off in my apartment, though I leave the lights on in the back rooms so there is just enough light to see me. My question is: Can I get in legal trouble for this? So far, my neighbors haven’t confronted me about it and I always feign ignorance while in the act of masturbating. The only way someone can see what I am doing is if they are on a higher story than me and are looking into my apartment. I have always been under the assumption that since I am exposing myself in my own home, and not making a huge display of it, I am legally safe. Am I correct in this assumption? Thanks.
