So if you have the time, what I’d like to know is.... When did you start to flash yourself? Ever since my friends and I were little children, when both sexes of children were present, we just had this obsession with showing and seeing each other’s genitals. It kind of died off till around the age of puberty, but then I started finding ways of exposing to girls. When they were that age and when they could see that I was too, they didn’t tell (I mean they didn’t tell their parents or any authorities; they probably did tell their friends.) How many times have you done it? Now before we begin an interview with questions like this, we’re going to have to decide what it is we mean by “flashing.” Society has a different idea of what it is than some of us who carry on our activities behind the scenes. The only part of it that society sees is the little tip of the iceberg above the surface: that is, when men blatantly and lewdly expose themselves to someone out in public, and it’s obvious what they’re doing and why they’re doing it. These we call “grossers” and the men who do them, we call “mowks.” Behind the scenes, however, there is more that goes on that society generally isn’t aware of. Situations occur in which women do see men’s genitals, and they believe it is either just a fluke situation they happen to be in, or else a necessity of what they are—or in some cases have been led to believe they are—involved in. This we use for taking care of our need, but if it goes well, the public doesn’t interpret it as “flashing.” These arrangements are called “C-scams” and the less complicated ones “C-maneuvers.” (I guess in England you would spell that “manoeuvres”.) I may not even be someone you’re looking for—although we have our ways of venting the addiction, some of your questions appear to be addressed to the mowks, the dumb jerks down at the bottom of the ladder. There’s a message board for mowks at dickflash.com. This board seems to cater more to the more intelligent and more cautious and tasteful exhibitionists. But I think you could get a lot of answers to a lot of your questions by reading over this board anyway. How many times have I done “it”? That would depend on where you draw the line between what constitutes “it” and what doesn’t. What time of year do you do it? Do what? Do you mean C-scams or grossers? C-scams, many of which take place indoors, are arranged all year round. Grossers we don’t do. As for the mowks, I believe police statistics indicate an increase in incidents in spring and summer months and a decrease in fall and winter months, as one would expect. Why do you do it? Oh brother, that’s the big one. It’s a question of whether the problem is being taken care of or not. Mowks need to consider the effects what they are doing is going to have on other people as well as on themselves. Since we have our ways of forming outlets for it, usually no problems are caused by it, and this negates the need for therapy. Have you ever told family and friends? My best friends are the other members of the Brotherhood. I also have the friends I grew up with, but I haven’t told them about it. Likewise, I’ve never told my family. Have you ever been caught by the police? No, but before I found my way into the brotherhood there were two times when I came pretty darn close to getting caught, but managed to slip away. Do you have relationships with women and still flash yourself? Again, it’s the question of what you mean by “flash.” If you mean do I still participate in C-scams, yes. But if you mean do I pull grossers, no. And usually the women we date are of a different mental disposition about the subject than the average women in society; that is, liberal about the subject of nudity, and accepting of the fact that sometimes we have to do what we have to do. Some of them have a hang-up or two themselves. If one of us starts dating a woman who doesn’t know, he has to tell her. How would you feel if someone flashed themselves to your children? I’m going to have my vases cut, and I’m not planning on having any children. Why do you think no women do it? With all due respect, I think you are mistaken about that. It has long been a common misconception that female exhibitionism doesn’t exist. But it does. I understand one participant on this board has even been flashed to himself by a woman.
