As much as I'd like to castigate him for not passing to Beto, the defenders positioning is spot on and makes that pass almost impossible, and the second defender gets back quickly. The ball to him is well behind him making his first touch the only one he could have before shooting or passing. Probably his best option was to cut in as the 1st defender was sold, but he got a decent shot off.
Watched this many times on slow motion and he probably didn't do much wrong.
