The lack of trees is a bit weird, but there's plenty of wildlife, especially birds. I can walk 5 minutes from my front door and there's a big cliff with tge biggest puffin colony in the world. Then when you travel around the country you can see everything from Reindeer to arctic Foxes. My mate is a fisherman and I sometimes go out on the boat with him. Just about 6 weeks ago we saw a pod of killer whales hunting. There's loads of brilliant hiking on the mainland as well. It's just a bit different from what we're normally used to seeing.
