Nicholas Cage in ‘Dream Scenarios’
Wow. That’s THE strangest film I’ve ever seen.
….and the mad thing about it is Cage is NOT doing his usual demented person act. He’s largely playing it straight (a few laugh out loud comedy moments aside) and his acting performance is superb.
The premise: Nic Cage plays a balding, boring Uni lecturer. One day all the people start reporting that he is appearing in their dreams. This phenomenon (let’s call it a kind of collective sleep psychosis) starts getting wider and wider until he’s known nationally as being “the bald guy who appears in everyone’s dreams”.
I won’t spoil what happens next, except to say it’s a weird film.
