Lady friend is off to Australia to visit her son in two weeks time. Today she received an email from Saudi Arabian consulate telling her that it could be very dodgy flying over their air space. She's booked her flight costing well over £1,000 with Emirates which should stop in Dubai. She's worried sick as she can't afford not to get her money back if things escalate. It would seem that Saudi know something we don't. Will Emirates give her back the £1k ? I know I wouldn't wish to fly within a thousand mile of that stretch of sand at this moment in time.
