An article will not endorce or disrespect a potential advertizer and say anything that may be deemed liable, and honestly they are editors not electro savy.
The LED isn't the majic (although led is super techno) it isn't what makes the skin improve. It is the spectum and red runs from 660-880 which is not difficult to achieve.
Yes, more lights create more lumes and more lights cost more $$ and make the treatment time shorter.
So how many Diods would be a very good questions to ask while shopping around and the specific wavelenght would be good too. To your eye is it too oraange or a little violet?
You might ask the overall wattage,
They are all overpriced and have a huge profit margin.
