They are different and have different effects. LED penetrates? I doubt it there is no heat and no other reason for it to. If you can only afford one--galvanic, LED is scientifically proven and way over priced.
What head to penetrate are you talking about? Changing the lights? Or a hand piece to use on the client? If the hand piece requires 2 electrods "the head" and a hand piece--it is galvanic.
