I am hoping for some advice on difficult extractions on a friend of mine. She is asian, 40's, nice skin but about 6-8 impactions on her forehead. They are not milia although they are closed. I used a needle of course but her pores are tiny and it was very difficult to see the opening of the follicle. So in each one I dialated with the needle where I thought the opening was and at another place on the impaction. NOTHING! No movement at all. These impactions are large (like a small tapioca bead-can't think of anything else to compare to!! Sorry if that was gross) and are white with a slight bluish tinge. I have seen this before on caucasian women and when it comes out it's like a tube of toothpaste being squeezed. It is big. I know you have to make the opening rather large, but this time there was no movement at all! I was a little shocked. I used an extractor to try to push it out a bit before manually extracting-nothing. These impactions really bother her and I'm ticked they got the better of me!! I sent her home with an AHA serum. Any suggestions?
