Unfortunately I have never found a stain remover that breaks the oils down enough to save the sheets. I even tried a industrial brand called ECO-LABS and spent a small fortune on their products which are amazing for your clothing however didn't save my sheets.
Wal Mart has a decent line of sheets that cost around $4 or $5 for a twin sheet. I always buy them in a cream color and they are pretty soft once washed. At that price I do not feel to bad when I need to throw them away.
