Patty,
I'm a 34 year old woman who has had cystic acne since puberty, not a ton at a time but always at least one. I've tried Proactive which was too drying, Dermalogica, Pevonia, etc. My skin has never been clear (except with my first pregnancy). Right now I'm using a cleanser with exfoliation beads, a mild toner, and BPO Gel Med (5% Benzoyl Peroxide). Now the cystic acne is gone, but my skin now has several small white non-inflamed spots. I can't tell if they are milia or closed comedones. When I extract the contents is soft. My skin is also dehydrated. How can I tell the difference between the two and how do I treat them? Thanks!
