Yes, clinique toner is acetone same as nail polish remover.
A chemist may be able to draw the chemical structure tell you the molecule size but not necessarily understand what happens on the skin.
I go for reading ingredients, I do my best, some bad bad ingredients don't have to be listed on the label if they are under a certain quanitiy or considered a trade sectret.
