Waxy, you are correct. Every state is different. Check with your state board to see. My understanding a TRUE Medical Esthetician is someone who holds both a nursing lic and esthetics lic. Stay in your scope of practice in your state. The last time I checked a Clinical Esthetician was one who worked in a clinic.
