I am wondering if some states grant a "medical esthitician" or if it is just some one employed by an MD.
Different organizations such as CEDISCO do have "certifications". I looked into it, although it may be on the up and up it mostly is an arogant title, some of them aren't so smart.
Some states have different titles and licensure levels.
Many here get educated in a state with an esthetic lisence and a Masters. Just BS to grab a lot more money. We use to get the license and do the master work by going to workshops etc.
Many here call themselves "Master" it has no legal definition. As a BS I find it a little offensive. I've declared myself skin care goddess, it is on the card.
Seriously, I think Texas may have the medical, or something near.
I would be in world of legal trouble if I used the term medical. Those MD would be on me like flies on . . .
