Posted by Joel Andrew Tyson on 12/28/2003, 2:52 am I feel so strange that this message board has moved me to tears. What a sadsack I am. But so many people that really made huge impressions on my... on the way I think have posted on this list! Dave Dwiggins- Yo! Great job keeping this list up. I would have never kept this up long enough for someone like me to find it. What are you up to? I can see your warm smile now! Greg Tozzi- Holly *** what are you up to? You'll always be my favorite conservative! Remember JSA??? Hahaha! Imagine, I'm an anarchist now! Mike T. Gray- Oh man. You were the calming presence I always imitated in my times of inner drama. Congratulations on the new family!!!!! Karen Cohen- What's up you? I still haven't learned how to swim! But you are one of the elite few that tried to teach me! I'll never forget how nice you were to me in general. You haven't kept in touch with Mary by any chance have you? Congratz on the fam! Amanda Hillman- You're said person above. Where have you been? You just dropped off the face of the earth!!! Did I do something wrong? Anyway, everyone knows I followed Amanda around like a puppy all three years of my Roosevelt life. Congratz on the new family!!! Jan Johns- Man, I was never able to really tell you how much I admired you for being so... you. When I saw you were trekking out to LA, I knew you would probably be one of the very very few people that should be in that town. Congratz on the marriage. Courtney Johnson Baker- Hehe, even though you dropped me like a log once you ventured into more romatic vistas (AZ, Austrailia) I think of you often in my head and when I do I picture you as the girl in that sad yet triumphant movie about... well... being... and the Cowboy Junkies are the soundtrack. Congratz on the marriage! Kim Hartman- Wow. It's amazing that you are the first girl that I ever knew that had a vanilla scent. For me, the scent of vanilla will always be the Kim Hartman smell. Debbie Koch- You probably don't remember me, but I remember that you were just amazing. I wish I had had the social skill to get to know you better, maybe some of that good vibe would rub off on me. Greg Arthur- One of the few guys that really deserve to be called "da man." You really had a way about you... a stature that will I'll always remember. Congratz on your family. Marcellus Procter- I hear your name, as I did back then, and I'm just sure you must be doing such great things. Bill Edwards- You genius. I looked up to you so much Billy. How's Japan! I'm sure I'll make it over there in the next couple of years if by any chance you're still there. Melissa Aires Riegel- Whoah man. Shout outs. I have such pleasant memories of you (mostly with Courtney)... memories that have wonderfully subversive tints. Where've you been? Congratz on the marriage! I know I forgot some people, but you may have neglected to post a surname or whatever, but you know I love you too! So, what's up with me? I'm married (just for convenience/tax/investing/childcare reasons, I don't actually "believe" in marriage and I'm firmly agnostic and all that) to a wonderful anarcho-communist named Angela! We have a daughter who is now one year and 4 months old. Her name is Ruby Denise. I spend most of my time doing things that deal with music. I'm launching some ventures in 2004, so I'll keep you guys updated (yeah, I know, you're not interested, but you know...). I guess it's so easy to romanticize all my Roosevelt years. But I can't help but to remember with my rosey glasses all you people that I observed so closely... with a fondness that may be similar to that of a shell shocked Vietnam Vet remembering his war buddies.

This list is amazing. I would have never imagined I would want to make contact with people from high school ever again and when I came across this list looking for someone I have only lost contact with in the past few years, I had no intention of posting anything. But, MAN, the memories!
