ALGO SUAVE
NOMINATED FOR BEST TEJANO LOCAL BAND
AT THE TEJANO MUSIC ACADEMY AWARDS
In the 1990’s this band “Algo Suave” was a Tejano band originated out of Bryan, Texas. The original band members were Arthur Tijerina lead vocalist who now sings with Groupo Vida, Ralph Perez bass player which is a former bass player for Jay Perez, Joe Resendez drummer, Daniel Munoz guitar & bajo, and I, Sotero Seniceros keyboard player. Together we formed this band. However with different circumstances the band did not last long.
Now in 2005, “Algo Suave” is back in full force. The original keyboard player, Sotero Seniceros, and Johnny Rodriguez who play's Accordion has decided to bring this group back. With them are some of the best musicians in Central Texas that now make up this band. Ralph on drums, Patrick Tobar on bass, Johnny Sotero on guitar, and Karlos Ladin singer from Dallas, Texas.
We are a Tejano band with original music. We also play tunes by some of the other great artist, such as, Jay Perez, La Fuerza, David Lee, Los Garcia Brothers, Milagros and many others.
Together they formed this band “Algo Suave” and will be playing very soon near you and are now available for bookings for all occasions.
