I have just found a link with the Entwistle name whilst researching my husband's family and wondered if anyone could shed more light onto these people? Mary Entwistle bc 1828 at Grane, Haslingden married Benjamin Kirby Nov 6th 1848 at Haslingden. She died 1866. Mary's father was William Entwistle a weaver of Slate Pits, Grane, Haslingden and her mother's name was Esther.
