Good luck on your search for information about your grandad. My grandad was Bernard Entwistle, who's wife was Sarah Elizabeth De Wolf. I'm sure we aren't related, but many Entwistles are from Wales, were miners there and immigrated to the Carolinas, W. VA, VA...to mine coal here.
