Gaynor, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this one. What was Holden Entwistle’s occupation – it will be on the marriage certificate. I’ve found a Holden Entwistle in Oswaldtwistle in 1881, aged 44, with a 9-year-old son called Thomas, but can’t find him in 1891 at the moment. St. Catherine’s Index has the death of a Holden Entwistle, aged 55, registered in Blackburn in the December quarter of 1891, vol. 8e, page 339. Let me know if this isn’t the right one. Barbara
