Posted by Barbara Nightingale By coincidence, one of our members has just sent me a list of all the Entwistles who were in the Liverpool area in the 1901 Census, and there is a Herbert Entwistle, aged 10, living at 15 Churnet Street, Kirkdale with his parents Robert (which I suspect should be Ralph) and Grace, and siblings Emma, Grace, Charlotte, Rachel, Ralph and Mabel. Does this sound like the correct family? If so, we have a member who is descended from Rachel, who married Joseph Edwardson. He is 80 years old and now lives in Southampton. From him I have the information that Herbert was born on 14 September 1890 and married Annie Jane Briggs.
