Family comes from Liverpool, although I now live in Ipswich Suffolk. There are a lot of family still in Liverpool. My Grand father came from Lancashire and had 7 sons and 1 daughter so there are a few of us still there. We are however not very gregarious! Funerals is about the only time we meet. Herbert Entwistle, my Grand father fought in WW1, and I have his medals. Served in the Rifle Brigade, but service records difficult to trace. We think he served in Mesopotamia with General Allenby. My Father, Gerard Entwistle served in the Royal Navy in WW2.
