Hi Amanda, I have a note that John Entwistle married Betty Nuttall on 13 Jan 1841 in Haslingden, and a christening on 14 April 1844 for a son John. Could be Nancy's brother ?
Your g-g-g parents were confusing me for some time ! However my John Entwistle (born about 1840), who also had a father James, married Mary Shepherd in 1861.
There were a lot of John and James Entwistle's in Haslingden so I've had to be very careful, and therefore slow! If I come across any of yours I'll let you know.
