I just saw a newspaper article about Dixon's death in 1917, his mother, Susannah Entwistle, nee Pilkington, seems to have remarried, her name is now mrs Schofield of York St. Crawshawbooth. She states in Dixon's obit, that he was her only son, it seems that Arthur died between 1902 and 1917, Susannah lost her husband, two daughters and another son in 1902. Presumably Arthur died afterwards. The loss of Dixon in 1917 left her with only one child, Hilda Mary Entwistle. I am so sad to learn this. I am also looking for Susannah's half sister ~ Isabella Nightingale ~ nee Ashcroft. Thank You Shelley
