He made his money in chickens particularly bantams. He imported birds from all over the world to develope the breeds we have now. He was editor of the British Fancier.
His father was Rev Joseph and his also Rev Joseph who was John Wesleys boy preacher.

My dads father was Francis Edward. We have tracked living relatives and thought only our family were left to carry the name but with my brother only having girls we thought the line stopped with us.
