Hi Dawn,
I'm sending this to your email address as well as posting it on the EFHA forum, as many times we forget where we have posted a message and forget to look again!
It is impossible to give you 'any history on the Entwisle family in England' without more specific information. There are literally thousands of Entwis(t)le families, some who are connected, some who aren't. Most of the Entwistles live in the county of Lancashire, as that is where the small township of Entwistle is, and where the name originated.
To help you find your Entwisle family in England you need to start with what you know about your mother, and work backwards. If the family were still in England in 1901, with some names, ages, and places of birth, we could probably find them in the 1901 census, and so learn more about them.
With regard to the Twissle Times newsletter. I'm afraid it isn't possible to subscribe to the newsletter without becoming a member of the Entwistle Family History Association. If you really want to learn about your Entwistles I would suggest you become a member. We are the only family history association devoted solely to Entwistles, and our database and knowledge of Entwistle families is growing all the time.
I hope I may hear from you again soon.
Best wishes,
Barbara Nightingale [Research Co-ordinator, E.F.H.A.]
