My grt grandfather's only surviving sibling was Hilda... this is Amazing!!
I have been on this search for over 5 years... it has been difficult at times, but the wonderfully kind people I have met on the internet have made this experience so worth it.
Dixon was KIA in 1917, Ypres, Belgium.. and in 1921 his widow left Lancashire with his two little girls, who never saw their father's mother or sister again.
How I wish my grandmother and grt aunt were alive to witness this... but I think perhaps they might just be watching.
