Posted by Kim Harten I am researching Thomas Entwisle and family, who lived at Wolhayes in Highcliffe in the 19th century. My interest in the family is for local historical reasons; I grew up in an area built on the site of their Ipsley estate. I have collected a fair amount of information from wills, censuses, birth/marriage/death records, reports from 19th century Christchurch and Bournemouth newspapers, and other documents from record offices. I have obtained various details including genealogical information from other researchers, and have also read Olive Samuel's history of Wolhayes. However, I feel that there is more to find out; I am particularly keen to I would also be interested to find out more about Thomas Entwisle’s father, also named Thomas, who was the previous owner of the Ipsley estate. I have some bits of information on his family and know that he lived at Springfield in Pendlebury, but would appreciate any additional information. If anyone is able to supply any further information that would assist me
