Hi, Linda. The breathing exercises contributed to the results. Realizing that my child had been hurt and confused for so long and acknowledging the hurt, anger and confusion as well as accepting these feelings led to allowing the witness to "see" the feelings. When I allow the feelings to "be" I also recognize the hurt my inner child had been feeling. In recognizing the hurt, in my heart of hearts I know that a child needs to be comforted and needs to feel worthy. I can give her the comfort she needs to feel worthy. Linda, all of the hurt hasn't gone away, I have discovered. I am still finding that there is more that needs to be dealt with in using John Ruskan's suggestions.
