The lo and behold Vince shows up with a fantastic story of authentic healing. He's found some peace and really feels healthy. This took a 2-3 years. Not sure when Vince started coming. When you think about it, that's not that long of a time when you are a pioneer in the wilderness. I am just really helped and inspired by the arc of his therapy and healing. Yeah Vince! When I think about it, it seems to me that Vince has had a rather quick and healing that I can learn from. My sense was that he came to this place, came to an alternative method of looking at feelings because he wasn't finding answers anywhere else, and though answers may not have come here directly or right away, there was acceptance and relative non-judgement. That creates room for something. Then time after time after time Vince courageously shared things that were tough to talk about. It didn't seem like he was getting relief, but he's shown up here and there to keep asking, keep reaching. At one point he was in so much pain he did deeper therapy (with John) and that was successful but not a panacea for things. He still wasn't at peace, although things loosened up.
