Posted by Linda on 8/25/2004, 12:08 am One of my editors is mean and unpredictable. He attacks when you least expect it, and it's usually, if not always, not an attack based on a rational or fair analysis of a situation. I tend to threaten him because I speak up, and because I have a very free-form approach to things. So he's constantly looking for ways to sabotage me. I can see know that at first I suppressed my reactions to him. I've evolved a little and now I'm not internalising his stuff, but I'm certainly left with judgment and anger to look at. It's very hard in a busy media newsroom to take the time to clear or meditate, but I'm seeing I need to do this. Otherwise I ended up feeling really resentful. I want to complain about him, or get him back. But I'm wondering if working with the clearing techniques will bring more natural balance and 'instant karma' to the situation.

I've been dealing with some murky undercurrents with co-workers. It's definately bringing up some feelings, patterns and issues.
